1. Release metadata

Start here — enter exactly what you will submit to your distributor. Cover text is pulled from artist name and project title below.

Featured artists on the cover use “Ft.” and appear below the primary artist. Band or artist logos are fine. Do not use streaming platform logos or another artist’s name/likeness without written permission.

Project title

A distinct, creative name for this release — not a placeholder (“Track 1”, “Instrumental 3”) or SEO label (“Yoga Music”, “Sleep Sounds”). Version tags like “(Acoustic)” or “(Radio Edit)” are fine.

Text already on artworkYour cover already shows the artist name and project title (e.g. a designer file or photo). Export will not add new text — only resize to 3000×3000 and run compliance. Metadata above is still used for the check.

Primary artist is a band
When releasing under a band name (e.g. “The Strays”), only the band name should appear on the artwork — not individual members. Band members cannot be listed as featured artists.

Featured artists

Optional — external collaborators only. Band members cannot be featured artists. If listed on the cover, use “Ft. Artist Name”.

No featured artists — add any name that appears as “Ft. …” on the cover.

Songwriters

Optional — songwriters do not need to be on the artwork. Add anyone whose name appears as readable text on the cover (including “Written by …” credits).

No songwriters listed — add names only if they appear on the artwork.

Background

Describe what you want, pick a style preset, and generate art with no text — you add artist and title from metadata so they match your submission. Generated backgrounds are upscaled to 3000×3000 px. Optionally upload a reference photo to feature yourself or your artist on the cover.

Upload a clear photo of the artist. AI will edit this photo while trying to keep the same face, skin tone, and expression. Close-up headshots work best for head-and-shoulders covers — do not ask for full body, legs, or heels from a face-only photo. Use a full-body reference if you need a full-length outfit shot.
