1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DropzChek(the "Service"), including our website, artwork compliance checking tools, AI design studio, and related features. By creating an account, signing in (including via Google), or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. The Service
DropzChek helps musicians and labels evaluate cover artwork against common requirements used by major digital distribution partners. Reports, suggestions, and AI-generated assets are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee that any artwork will be accepted by Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, or any other platform or distributor. You are responsible for confirming final requirements with your distribution service.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You may register with email and password (with two-factor authentication) or, where available, sign in with Google. If you use Google sign-in, you authorize us to receive basic profile information as described in our Privacy Policy.
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a security or abuse risk.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of artwork, metadata, and other materials you upload or create through the Service. You grant us a limited license to host, process, analyze, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Service (for example, running compliance checks, generating reports, and storing activity history associated with your account). We do not claim ownership of your creative work.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to infringe others' rights.
- Upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with the Service.
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or resell the Service without permission.
- Misrepresent compliance results as official approval from any platform.
6. Plans and billing
Free and paid plans may include usage limits on compliance reports and studio generations. Paid subscriptions, where offered, are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). Fees, renewal terms, and cancellation are presented at checkout. Refunds are handled according to our billing policies and applicable law.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. AUTOMATED CHECKS AND AI OUTPUTS MAY CONTAIN ERRORS OR OMISSIONS.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DROPZCHEK AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR DISTRIBUTION REJECTIONS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
